Properties
Object Name:
- Name of the object in BI
- Authorized names are made using the letters of the alphabet and numbers, except the first letter. Use of “_” and space is not allowed.
- It is not allowed to use the names in the Pane Variable
Current Value:
- It is a float value which can be used as a start point in an analysis
- When it changes, the PDF and CDF according to this value can be seen in rows 16 and 17, respectively.
q:
- It is a float value between 0 and 1 that represents the CDF of the probabilistic distribution and the inverse CDF for this value that it is showed in row 18
Distribution Type:
- Probability distribution of the random variable
- Probability distribution properties are defined by the parameters inside the parentheses
- A probability distribution object may have six input parameters, the number of which is equal to the number of parameters in parentheses
- If a probabilistic distribution object has two parameters in parentheses, only parameters 1 and 2 will be active for it and other parameters will be ignored
- For example, in the normal distribution, parameter 1 is the mean and parameter 2 is the standard deviation
Parameter 1:
- The first parameter of probability distribution that can be seen in the parentheses
Parameter 2:
- The second parameter of probability distribution that can be seen in the parentheses
Parameter 3:
- The first parameter of probability distribution that can be seen in the parentheses
Parameter 4:
- The third parameter of probability distribution that can be seen in the parentheses
Parameter 5:
- The fourth parameter of probability distribution that can be seen in the parentheses
Parameter 6:
- The fifth parameter of probability distribution that can be seen in the parentheses
Coefficient Of Variation:
- Coefficient of variation of the probability distribution
Mean:
- Mean of the probability distribution
Standard Deviation:
- Standard deviation of the probability distribution
Skew:
- Skewness of the probability distribution
Kurtosis:
- Kurtosis of the probability distribution
PDF:
- PDF value of the current value applied in row 2
CDF:
- CDF value of the current value applied in row 2
Inverse CDF:
- Inverse CDF value of the value applied in row 3
Probability Distribution Type:
- 1. Normal
- 2. Exponential
- 3. Gamma
